About the Assignment The organization is undergoing a comprehensive digital transformation journey and is developing customized digital solutions, tools, and support to create efficient and robust IT processes. We are now seeking an experienced full-time Product Owner responsible for planning and driving the development, prioritization, and ongoing management of an ITSM tool and associated processes that are being implemented. The role serves as the link between business operations, IT, management, vendors, and development teams to ensure that the ITSM solution supports the organization's needs, goals, and regulations. As Product Owner, you will work closely with initiative leaders, change managers, requirements analysts, test leads, process managers, technical specialists, vendors, users, and other stakeholders. You are expected to have a strong understanding of ITIL processes and digital product development, and be able to translate strategic and operational needs into clear requirements, prioritized backlogs, and achievable deliverables. The role requires strong communication skills, excellent holistic perspective, and experience making well-founded prioritization decisions in multi-stakeholder environments. Responsibilities Own the product vision, target state, and roadmap for the ITSM tool. Prioritize and manage the backlog based on business value, technical dependencies, risks, and regulatory requirements. Gather, analyze, and clarify needs from business operations, IT, and management. Formulate epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized requirements. Ensure that development and configuration support established ITIL processes. Collaborate closely with Tech Lead, developers, process owners, architects, security functions, and vendors. Monitor deliverables, value realization, user experience, and quality. Contribute to governance, decision support, management planning, and release planning. Ensure the solution meets requirements for information security, data protection, accessibility, traceability, and manageability. Requirements: At least 8 years of experience in IT, business development, product ownership, systems management, or ITSM, including backlog management and prioritization. At least 3 years of experience as a Product Owner, Subject Matter Expert, Management Lead, or Project Manager. At least 3 years of documented experience with ITIL processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, Release, and Configuration Management, as well as understanding of Asset and Request Management. At least 3 years of experience with requirements management, needs analysis, and strategic planning. At least 3 years of experience in at least two of the following areas: CMDB, Asset Management, self-service portals, automation, or ticket workflows. At least 3 years of experience coordinating parallel initiatives, technical dependencies, or program work. At least 2 years of documented experience from public sector operations in larger organizations with at least 500 employees, including both procured and internal deliveries.
