The IT Department at Stockholm University consists of approximately 120 employees with overall responsibility for Sweden's largest university's IT environment. This means developing/managing/deploying and monitoring platforms, systems and services that support academia, education, research and administration. You will have a key role in shaping, modernizing and future-proofing the university's network infrastructure in a complex and socially important IT environment with high demands for stability, security and long-term development, where your efforts contribute to creating conditions for world-class education and research. Work Tasks As a product owner for network infrastructure, you are responsible for development, management and prioritization within the product area. You collaborate with the team and other stakeholders to ensure that the area develops and meets the organization's needs, technical requirements and long-term goals. The role involves many contact points and collaboration with team members, team coach, portfolio segment coordinator, managers, product owners, business representatives and suppliers. The team is responsible for the university's network infrastructure and works on developing new services, management, support and incident handling with a strong focus on IT security. Examples of work tasks: Ensure stable operations, high security as well as development and management of network infrastructure Take responsibility for strategy, prioritization, backlog and deliverables within the product area Responsible for preparing budget information for the product area, financial prioritization and follow-up Manage dependencies to other products, teams and initiatives Collaborate with team coach, team, group managers, portfolio segment coordinators and the business on planning, prioritization and deliverables Work according to agile working methods and established ITIL-based processes Collaborate with other product owners and teams Participate in procurements and take responsibility for supplier management Ensure relevant documentation within the product area Qualifications We are looking for you who have: Post-secondary education in IT or equivalent competence Several years of experience in the role of product owner, Product Owner or similar within IT infrastructure, preferably in environments with agile working methods Good technical understanding and experience of leading in complex technical environments. You can quickly familiarize yourself with new areas and create dialogue with technical specialists, the business and other stakeholders Experience in requirements gathering, requirements management and prioritization in dialogue with the business and stakeholders Very good ability to communicate in Swedish both orally and in writing Meritorious are: Experience of working within network infrastructure Experience of supplier management, procurement and contract matters Certification in Product Owner, Scrum or similar Personal Qualities: We would like you to: have the ability to work independently, drive towards set goals and analyze and navigate in complex environments have good collaboration skills and build trusting relationships through an unpretentious and inclusive working style create clarity in prioritizations, direction, goals and decisions have good communication skills and can create engagement and common direction have the ability to balance long-term development with high demands for stability and quality have a professional approach and good problem-solving skills It is also important that you feel comfortable collaborating with experienced specialists and working in environments where established working methods and perspectives need to meet change and development. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. About the Employment The employment is permanent on a full-time basis with a six-month probationary period. Stockholm University applies individual salary setting. Start date by agreement.
