As a product owner, you'll have a central role in balancing needs, driving development, and ensuring solutions work—both today and in the future. About the Role As a product owner responsible for publishing electricity market data, you will ensure that the product area efficiently supports the organization's capabilities, both today and in the future. You balance the needs of the business, users, and IT organization to maintain and further develop existing solutions and establish new ones as requirements change. You are responsible for one or more products, where a product combines business and IT components that support critical capabilities in the power system. The area is responsible for solutions that make electricity market data available to actors in Sweden and Europe, playing an important role in electrification and the development of tomorrow's energy system. You will collaborate with experts both internally at Svenska kraftnät, at other Transmission System Operators, and with suppliers. Key Responsibilities: Within the scope of the products you manage, you will lead product maintenance and further development, as well as establish new solutions based on changing needs, in close collaboration with a cross-functional operations team. Maintain close contact with stakeholders, understand their needs, and balance them against business goals, technical prerequisites, and architectural principles. Build understanding of the product area and how changes in energy systems, regulations, and markets affect it, and contribute to its development to meet future needs for accessible and transparent electricity market data. Drive both operational and strategic matters with a focus on ensuring the product is fit for purpose and develops in line with the organization's long-term needs. Represent the product area in national and international forums and contribute business and product perspectives on matters related to product development. You will be part of the Electricity Market Support unit, which supports core business processes in operations and electricity markets with various IT solutions. The unit consists of 16 employees with broad expertise and different roles. Cross-functional collaboration is encouraged both within the System division and in close cooperation with the IT division, as well as with other parts of Svenska kraftnät and actors in the Nordic region and Europe. You hold a master's degree in engineering or a master's degree in a relevant field (for example, energy systems), or alternatively have other education and/or work experience that Svenska kraftnät considers equivalent. You also have: At least 5 years of experience in product leadership with responsibility for product management and product development, where the role has included work at both operational and strategic levels at the intersection of business and IT. Experience with IT systems handling large amounts of data, as well as complex data flows and system integrations. Work experience with requirements management, including gathering, analyzing, and specifying needs. Very strong ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English. Desirable Qualifications It is desirable if you have experience with: Working with open data, data platforms, or solutions for data publishing and transparency. Working with regulations and regulatory requirements in the energy market, for example transparency requirements and EU regulations (such as ENTSO-E, REMIT). Working in the Swedish or Nordic electricity market, including international collaborations. Experience working close to control room operations.
