About the job
At the Swedish Transport Agency, we are driving several initiatives that strengthen our analytical capabilities and our ability to manage finances. Now we're looking for an engaged business developer in the role of Product Owner for Finance and HR who wants to help translate the organization's needs into solutions that create value across the entire agency. As a Product Owner, you drive development forward and ensure that our investments have an impact in collaboration with affected operations. You will be part of a team working agile and cross-functionally together with other business developers, architects, and developers.
Finance and HR is part of a product area that develops and manages government-wide IT solutions in areas such as case management, data analysis, automation, and My Pages. Through collaboration and a shared roadmap, we contribute to more efficient, uniform, and value-creating operations. The product area is relatively new and work is ongoing to develop working methods within the product area.
You will be part of the Development and Operations section together with approximately 15 colleagues with different roles within the Common Functions product area. The section's employees are located in Örebro and Norrköping.

You will
lead, prioritize, and follow up on operations and development work
work in close collaboration and dialogue with our operations, capture their needs, and translate them into value for our customers
identify user needs and problems and leverage, and actively work with, user insights and statistics
be the link between operations and IT
participate in tactical and strategic work on the product's and product area's roadmap, goals, and follow-up, as well as participate in the daily work of maintaining the systems included in the product
lead and coordinate work within allocated financial frameworks
be responsible for and ensure the product's deliverables and quality and follow them up from an operations perspective
You must have
relevant academic education or other equivalent experience that we assess as equivalent
several years of experience leading development and change work with a focus on IT development within the business support area
experience working according to agile methods
good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish
It is meritorious if you also have
knowledge within the finance area
experience with IT support within the finance area
knowledge in process and information modeling
experience working in public operations

More information
The position is permanent with placement in Örebro or Norrköping. Recruitment according to agreement. We normally apply a probationary period. We offer remote work based on operational needs, up to 3 days per week. Employment with us may involve placement in a security clearance class. A security vetting with record check under the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted. For some of our tasks in the security class, Swedish citizenship is required.
