We are looking for an experienced Product Owner for one of our technically specialized infrastructure teams. The team drives the development and management of the agency's databases. You will be part of the product leadership in what we call Tvärbanans, which is one of the agency's agile trains responsible for stable and secure delivery of IT infrastructure. The focus is on security, stability, and collaboration. About the job As a Product Owner, you lead and prioritize the team's work based on the agency's needs and goals. You coordinate with other teams and stakeholders and ensure that deliveries create real value for database users. We work in an agile manner with a SAFe-inspired approach and you collaborate closely with other teams, architects, suppliers, and other key personnel to drive development forward. You will lead the team in close collaboration with the team's Scrum Master. The daily work will be characterized by significant change initiatives. You help the team and the surrounding organization to move forward together in an open and goal-focused manner. Recurring responsibilities: Drive and prioritize the team's backlog based on development and infrastructure team needs, maintainability, security and operational stability, as well as the agency's strategies and goals in a clear manner. Participate in Tvärbanans product leadership and other relevant networks Manage dialogue with other operations and development teams to gather, understand needs, and manage initiatives within the area. Responsible for planning and roadmap. Ensure operations and lifecycle management for databases. Network and gather requirements from development and infrastructure teams and define needs in Features with clear boundaries. Communicate status, plans, and changes to relevant parties in a clear manner. Handle necessary administration and documentation and ensure compliance with the agency's guidelines and instructions for the area, including license responsibility for database platforms. Develop budget for the team's work and areas of responsibility. Collaborate with the Scrum Master to achieve and ensure that everyone understands the team's common goals. Organizationally, you will be part of a group at the Platform and Infrastructure Unit, together with other leading roles such as product managers, project managers, and product owners. Your profile You are an experienced leader who can read people and situations. We need a communicative and collaboration-oriented leader who creates engagement and builds trust. At the same time, you are analytical and have the ability to navigate a complex organization. Because the team is technically specialized in database infrastructure, we see that you have good technical understanding in this area and can grasp especially technical issues, preferably in large organizations with complex system interdependencies. You will learn a lot here but a basic understanding is necessary. We are looking for someone who has: Good experience in the PO role and has worked in a larger agile organization Basic knowledge of technical environments and processes within database infrastructure Very good ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish Also advantageous: Experience working with complex system interdependencies/large-scale environments Have experience working with the SAFe framework Have experience coordinating larger implementation projects of new hardware with external suppliers Experience with LOU (Public Procurement Act) Background from state or public operations Previous experience working at the Swedish Pensions Agency It is not only what and how long you have done something that is most important, but what you have the ability to do.
