We continue to grow within an expanding range of industries, and the Pattern Generator (PG) division has a unique market position as the world's leading supplier of mask writers for manufacturing advanced photomasks, which in turn are used in the manufacturing of high-resolution displays and microprocessors. Every high-resolution display you see, whether it's a TV, phone, tablet, Apple Watch, etc., Mycronic's machines are part of the manufacturing process. As a Production Product Engineer, you are part of a larger department of 20 employees with broad responsibility for product engineering, process engineering, production planning, test development, logistics development, customs, trade compliance, and project management within industrialization. You will collaborate with most functions within your own department but especially cross-functionally with, among others, the production team and R&D, which makes this a great role for someone who enjoys collaborating with a large network of functions and people. Responsibilities Production within the PG divisions is currently divided into different areas – Component Production of Electronics, Final Assembly, Spare Parts Production, R&D Production, and Warehouse, and you will work towards one of these areas as the department you belong to functions as a support function to production. You work to ensure that the product meets technical requirements throughout the manufacturing chain with a focus on the internal production process. You function as an important link between design and production by reviewing new introductions before they are implemented in production. You contribute with an understanding of both the product and the manufacturing process. The role also involves actively working to develop and improve these over time, with the vision of seamless production during product introductions. You will have an important role at Mycronic where you not only contribute ideas and improvement suggestions but also take responsibility for driving them all the way from initiative to implemented solution. You will, for example… Provide support on production technical issues to keep production running and handle other product-related questions within the production area. Act as the department's representative in cross-functional forums regarding product introductions and design changes. Ensure that the product meets drawing requirements and quality requirements through reviews. Design the build sequence for production. Create and standardize processes to ensure compliance. Identify deviations, conduct root cause analyses, and contribute to new solutions. Conduct and support risk analyses and risk assessments. In the role, you are also part of the Local Management Team where you make strategic decisions together with the department manager, Team Leaders, process engineer, and Planning. Several years of work experience in production engineering and/or design. Deep understanding of the product introduction process. Strong knowledge of the Office package (e.g., good experience working in Excel and visualizing ideas and facts with, for example, Power Point). Knowledge of relevant standards, IPC/WHMA-A-620, IPC-A-610 & SS-EN IEC 61340-5-1/2 Good knowledge of both Swedish and English as both languages are used in the work.
