Now W5 Solutions is seeking a Production Engineer who wants to be part of developing production in an operation where improvement work, collaboration and technical development are a natural part of everyday life.
Your Future Challenge
As a Production Engineer, you will be an important link between design and production. You work closely with operations to develop, implement and optimize production processes, create efficient work methods and ensure that new products can be introduced smoothly and with quality assurance.
The role involves close collaboration with production, design, quality and procurement to jointly develop efficient and sustainable manufacturing solutions. You analyze production flows, identify improvement opportunities and drive development initiatives that strengthen quality, efficiency, working environment and delivery capability. At the same time, you support production with technical issues and help create standardized work methods that work both today and in the future.
Work days alternate between analysis, improvement work and hands-on work close to production. One day you work with process development or capacity analysis, the next day you drive an improvement project, develop work instructions, follow up on production data or participate in the launch of a new product in production.

Examples of Work Tasks
Develop, implement and optimize production processes for increased quality, efficiency and delivery capability.
Drive improvement work according to Lean principles and other established methods.
Participate in the introduction of new products and product changes in production.
Prepare and develop work instructions, standards and process documentation.
Perform time studies, capacity analyses and production balancing.
Support production with technical issues and deviations.
Participate in root cause analyses and quality improvement work.
Assist with investments in production equipment and production aids.
Ensure that production processes meet requirements for quality, environment and working environment.
Follow up on production data and key figures and drive improvement measures.
Work closely with design, production, quality and procurement to develop the business.
Are You the Right Person?
We are looking for someone with an interest in technology who is motivated by developing processes, solving problems and creating improvements. We would like to see that you have:
Post-secondary education in production engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial economics or equivalent.
Experience from production or manufacturing in electrical, electronics or mechanical areas within manufacturing industry.
Experience with Lean, continuous improvement or process development.
Knowledge of production processes and manufacturing methods.
Experience with business systems and production-related IT systems.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Experience from the defense industry or other technically advanced manufacturing is a merit.
