We are now looking for a Production Engineer who wants to contribute their expertise in production, process development, and continuous improvement. About the Role As a Production Engineer, you will be part of Production Engineering and work closely with production, focusing on wire and die bonding processes. You will support an operation that manufactures advanced products and components, where parts of the production are conducted in a cleanroom environment with high demands for quality and precision. In this role, you are responsible for developing, optimizing, and ensuring efficient manufacturing processes. You function as technical support to production and actively contribute to strengthening expertise in bonding processes. Your responsibilities include: - Develop and support production with a focus on wire and die bonding processes. - Work proactively to optimize manufacturing flows and processes. - Analyze production data and metrics and propose and implement improvement measures. - Ensure that new tasks, methods, and techniques are implemented efficiently. - Handle and investigate deviations and failures related to the manufacturing process. - Participate in projects and improvement initiatives within production and production engineering. - Create, update, and maintain instructions, procedures, and process documentation. - Provide technical support to operators and other functions within the operation. - Participate in operational meetings and drive activities linked to production's goals and development. To succeed in this role, we see that you have: - At least 5 years of experience working with wire and die bonding equipment. - Deep knowledge of equipment such as Datacon 2200 Evo, FEK Delvotek M17S, or equivalent systems. - Several years of experience in production and production development. - Experience working at the interface between design/engineering and production. - Very good experience with process-driven work and continuous improvement efforts. - Strong analytical skills with experience identifying and driving improvement measures. - Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. - Good familiarity with the Office suite, especially Excel and Word.
