Orkla Wound Care is seeking a Product Developer & Project Manager for its headquarters in Solna. We are looking for someone with a project management profile and who is a certified engineer or equivalent with a focus on materials science or chemical engineering. This is an opportunity to work as a product developer within medical technology in a broad role with significant development potential. In this role, you will work in an international environment as Orkla has factories and offices at several locations across Europe.
Orkla Health Wound Care develops, manufactures, and markets consumer products for wound care and first aid for both workplaces and industrial customers. The company has a strong tradition of in-house product development and innovation and has played an important role in shaping the consumer wound care and first aid category. Well-known brands in the category are Salvequick, Salvelox, and Norgesplaster in the B2C segment, and Cederroth First Aid and Snögg in the B2B segment.
Within the Wound Care Category, approximately 35 people work at the Solna office, where a total of approximately 220 employees work across Orkla's various product segments, with leading positions in the Nordic region and strong international presence.

In the role you are responsible for:
· Developing products and improving materials
· Leading improvement projects related to products in the European market
· Establishing project documentation and technical product documentation
· Performing simple laboratory tests in connection with product development
· Identifying new materials with a focus on sustainability and cost optimization
In your role, you have extensive contact points both externally and internally and you develop and design products together with colleagues in marketing, procurement, quality, regulatory, and production.
Who Are You?
We believe you are at the beginning of your career with some years of relevant work experience. For this position, good English language skills are required as well as preferably one of the Nordic languages. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office is a requirement.
Further, it is advantageous if you have:
· Experience from a development department within medical technology
· Experience and interest in designing or developing new products
· Experience with different types of manufacturing methods
· Experience with laboratory work, material analysis, stability studies, as well as planning and execution of verification against established requirements
· Experience with risk analysis
