Welcome to us The Communications Department drives internal and external communications for the Traffic Office. We are convinced that a communication perspective makes a difference: for operations, for relationships, and for Stockholm residents. In our department, we work strategically and operationally with communication on topics such as permits, traffic planning, infrastructure, and urban environments. We monitor the external environment, keep the target audience in focus, formulate messages, and ensure they reach the right audience – through the right channel, at the right time. Welcome to grow in a growing city where your efforts truly make a difference! Your role In this role, you will primarily work with planning and producing content for social media. You create engaging and target group-adapted content through photography, moving images with text, and help make the Traffic Office's work accessible to Stockholm residents. You work operationally and creatively. You transform analysis and strategy into creative ideas. You work through the entire process from planning to production. The role also involves monitoring current issues and Stockholm residents' information needs to develop communications and ensure that content reaches the right audience through the right channel at the right time. You will work closely with several colleagues in the department to create integrated communications. The role also involves both drawing on the expertise of others and independently producing content from idea to finished product, always with the target audience, purpose, and channel in focus. You are comfortable with photography, filming, and conducting interviews. You have the ability to capture spontaneous moments and translate them into relevant and accessible content. Some of the work is performed outdoors within Stockholm City's geographic area. Your competence and experience We are looking for someone with: post-secondary education of at least one year in content production, photography, and/or film at least five years of current experience in still photography with a system camera and film photography in service for digital channels good experience in planning your own work and working according to content plans and priorities knowledge of basic graphic design for digital channels and associated programs knowledge of how to produce content to follow graphic manuals good experience with image editing, image generation, retouching, film editing, and post-production for digital channels very good knowledge of relevant programs for editing photos and video very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing good knowledge of Stockholm City's geography knowledge of producing content for social media B-class driver's license It is a merit if you have: experience working in municipal operations or municipal companies experience conducting live broadcasts experience using drones for photography or film The role requires that you are flexible and thrive in an operation where conditions can change quickly. You are proactive, self-driven, and confident in planning your work efficiently and moving your work forward. You must have good collaboration skills and enjoy working closely with different competencies and functions. To succeed in the role, you also need to be stable, solution-oriented, and have the ability to prioritize and adapt according to the needs of the operations. Please note that for this position, work in the evenings and on weekends may be required a couple of times per month.
