Teater Martin Mutter is an independent professional theater in Örebro that serves children and young people. We perform approximately 200 shows per year, both on our own stage in Örebro and on tour throughout the country. Our Artistic Direction Theatrical art has a unique ability to contribute to a society guided by humanistic values. We create: bold theatrical art that reflects the reality of children and young people today – theatrical art that provides space for reflection on contemporary society – theatrical art that gives courage to change the world around us. We shall infuse our entire operation with a distinct and anchored child and youth perspective. Our target audience should be co-creators of the theatrical art we produce, and we shall develop new methods and work approaches to deepen and strengthen our audience's participation. As the only independent professional theater in Örebro County with children and young people as our primary target audience, Teater Martin Mutter has a special responsibility toward the citizens of our region. We shall work to ensure that children and young people in our region have their voices heard and increase their access to professional theatrical art. We shall also work to ensure that professional theatrical artists have the opportunity to both live and work in our region. We are now seeking a temporary full-time producer for the period October 15, 2026 – May 31, 2027. As a producer, you will have primary responsibility for the theater's productions and projects: planning, organization, and communication both internally and externally. The position also includes some financial management, responsibility for the theater's social media, as well as managing venue rentals and hosting guest performances. Since Teater Martin Mutter is a small workplace, we all help with other administrative and practical tasks (as time permits). We are looking for someone who is an experienced project manager, who enjoys working independently as well as in a group. To thrive in this role, you should be thorough, foresighted, solution-oriented, and responsive. We welcome experience and expertise from similar roles. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. Profile Requirements - Post-secondary education as a producer or project manager in culture, or equivalent work experience. - Strong ability to communicate in Swedish, both verbally and in writing - Knowledge of Microsoft 365 programs. Basic knowledge of InDesign and WordPress is an asset Working Hours: primarily daytime on weekdays, but evenings and weekends may occur. Travel may be required. Salary: fixed monthly salary.
