About the Position

For the Wood business area, we are now seeking an operations-focused Process Developer who wants to drive continuous improvement of our business processes, with a clear focus on operational value, digitalization, and collaboration between operations and systems.
What You'll Work With at Södra
In your role as Process Developer, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with different parts of the business and contribute to ensuring that our working methods and tools are efficient, fit-for-purpose, and support the business area's strategy and goals. You'll have a central role in identifying improvement needs, prioritizing development initiatives, and translating business requirements into concrete solutions.
You'll also work with:
Defining, prioritizing, and driving minor continuous development and improvement initiatives
Capturing and structuring improvement suggestions from the business
Translating business requirements into technical specifications and requirements, for example related to business systems (ERP)
Developing decision-making materials for larger improvements
Leading and participating in improvement forums and training initiatives linked to sub-processes and systems
Documenting and developing processes, including process maps and training materials
This is a permanent full-time position, based in Växjö or Långasjö. Travel to production facilities will occur.
Who Are We Looking For?
We're seeking someone who is curious, structured, and has a strong interest in process development and operations-focused improvement work. You thrive on collaborating with many different stakeholders and have the ability to see the big picture while also being able to dive into details when needed.
To succeed in the role, you need:
Strong ability to analyze and handle complex issues
Relevant education or equivalent work experience
Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing
Class B driver's license
We'd also like to see that you have experience with:
Work in production, logistics, or customer service functions
Working with business systems/ERP in production, warehouse, and logistics
Driving or participating in development or improvement initiatives
Change management and working at the intersection of operations and IT
Process mapping and process improvement methodology
As a person, you are communicative, fearless, and attentive. You work in a structured manner, have a drive to develop and improve, and are motivated by creating real value in the business.
