The Environment and Community Development sector consists of two units: the Environment and Building Unit, and the Planning and Development Unit. At the Planning and Development Unit, we are a dedicated team of approximately 30 employees working with detailed and comprehensive planning, GIS, mapping and surveying assignments, street and traffic planning, as well as land and development matters.
We are now seeking a Process Leader who wants to help shape the future of Ulricehamn. In this role, you will hold a central position in our operations where you lead and coordinate projects and processes that impact the municipality's development for years to come. You will work closely with politicians, civil servants, developers, authorities, and residents to turn ideas from discussion into reality.

JOB DUTIES
As a Process Leader, you are responsible for driving and holding together projects and processes within the community development sector. In this role, you will, among other things:
• Lead and coordinate projects within community planning and development
• Coordinate different stakeholders, manage goal conflicts, and find ways forward in complex processes
• Lead or participate in investigation and design work
• Prepare materials and support decision-making processes
• Contribute to the development of the unit's working methods and processes
The work involves many contact points both within and outside the municipality. You will work closely with politicians, developers, authorities, consultants, the business sector, and residents.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with education in community development, construction, planning, or other education and experience that the employer considers equivalent. You have experience leading projects, processes, or development work where multiple stakeholders need to collaborate to achieve common goals. For this position, you need a good understanding of the community development process and how different interests, regulations, and stakeholders affect each other. Knowledge of the planning process, the Planning and Building Act, and the Environmental Code. You can express yourself fluently in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. It is also a merit if you have experience with digital tools such as GIS systems, project management tools, or other support systems within community development. To succeed in this role, you are:
