Our workplace is beautifully located along the picturesque Roslagen coast. About the Role Do you want to contribute to Sweden's electricity supply? Forsmarks Kraftgrupp is now seeking a process engineer in one of the areas of electrical power, safety analyses or core and fuel within reactor safety. The Safety and Quality Department works to be inspecting, supporting and interpreting requirements related to radiation safety. The department provides support to the company's CEO regarding radiation safety matters. The goal is to help ensure that Forsmark complies with safety requirements with a margin and that we are driving the development of safety at the company in terms of technology, operations and culture. You will work within the Radiation Safety unit. Our mission is to, together with other units in the safety department, be drivers for the development and maintenance of reactor safety, radiation protection and physical security at Forsmark. This is primarily carried out through independent radiation safety reviews and safety assessments of operational decisions. You will have ongoing contact with authorities and build a broad network, both within the Vattenfall Group and externally. The work will give you a good overview of operations and the safety structure of the facilities. Requirements Specification We are looking for you who are a technical engineer, civil engineer or have equivalent competence, either through other education or relevant work experience. You have solid knowledge of nuclear power plant construction, operation and maintenance. Experience working with nuclear power-related issues is a major advantage. The work requires cooperation, quality and compliance with procedures. We value qualities such as responsibility, clarity and flexibility. You thrive when working together with others and enjoy sharing your knowledge, thereby contributing to the team's development. To succeed in the role, you need to have good communication skills and master both Swedish and English in speech and writing.
