Our workplace is beautifully located along the scenic Roslagen coast. About the Role Would you like to contribute to Sweden's electricity supply? Forsmarks Kraftgrupp is now seeking a processing engineer in one of the following areas: power generation, safety analysis, or core and fuel within reactor safety. The Safety and Quality Department works to monitor, support, and interpret requirements related to radiation safety. The department provides support to the company's CEO regarding radiation safety matters. The goal is to ensure that Forsmark complies with safety requirements with a comfortable margin and to be a driving force in developing safety across the company in terms of technology, operations, and culture. You will work within the Radiation Safety unit. Our mission is to, together with other units in the safety department, drive the development and maintenance of reactor safety, radiation protection, and physical security at Forsmark. This is primarily accomplished through independent radiation safety reviews and safety assessments of operational decisions. You will have ongoing contact with authorities and build a broad network, both within the Vattenfall Group and externally. The work will give you a good comprehensive understanding of operations and the safety structure of the facilities. Requirements We are looking for someone with a degree in technical engineering, civil engineering, or equivalent competence through other education or relevant work experience. You have solid knowledge of nuclear power plants' design, operation, and maintenance. Experience working with nuclear power-related matters is a significant advantage. The work requires collaboration, quality, and adherence to procedures. We value qualities such as responsibility, clarity, and flexibility. You enjoy working together with others and willingly share your knowledge, thus contributing to team development. To succeed in this role, you need excellent communication skills and must be fluent in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
