About the Battery Operations At our battery facility, we work with recycling lithium-ion batteries from electric vehicles and the automotive industry in a modern and technically advanced production environment. The facility is an important part of Stena Recycling's commitment to circular solutions and enables valuable metals and materials to be recycled and reused, rather than new raw materials being extracted. The facility combines established industrial processes with new technology and is in constant development. There is a strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement, and the work takes place in close collaboration between production, maintenance, and engineering. About the Role As a Process Engineer, you will become a key person in the operation. You work closely with production, maintenance, and our technical engineering team – consisting of a technical manager and two technical specialists. Together, you will develop processes, drive improvement initiatives, and create conditions for continuously taking the next step in materials processing. Your Main Responsibilities Lead and drive improvement work Plan, conduct, and follow up test runs and analyze material output Develop and document process settings together with production Identify bottlenecks, critical process steps, and improvement areas Work fact-based with root cause analysis and data-driven problem solving Opportunities in the Longer Term Greater responsibility in technical projects Automation and digitalization of processes Advanced data analysis and optimization work Who Are You?
