Your Responsibilities Siemens Energy is a global technology and energy company at the forefront of turbine component development and manufacturing. The production unit combines modern production methods with conventional manufacturing and repair. The department works with additive manufacturing (AM) through Selective Laser Melting (SLM), also known as 3D printing. Operations are in an expansion and development-intensive phase with new products being gradually introduced into production. As a 3D Scanning Technician/Inspector, you will be an important part of the quality assurance process, working with technically advanced components in both small and large series. The role also offers opportunities to develop work methods, processes, and procedures. Key Duties You will work with: 3D scanning using GOM Blueprint reading and interpretation of technical documentation Inspection of form and positional tolerances Manual measurement and visual inspection of components Documentation management Nonconformance handling Participation in projects and continuous improvement initiatives Process and method development Identifying improvement opportunities and proactively contributing solutions You will work closely with production and other departments, playing a key role in ensuring components meet quality standards and specified requirements. Your Profile We are looking for someone who: Has experience with 3D scanning and/or CMM Is familiar with blueprint reading and form and positional tolerances Has strong computer skills Is thorough, organized, and quality-conscious Enjoys collaboration and taking personal responsibility Has a solution-oriented approach and interest in continuous improvement Meritorious: Experience with nonconformance management and process development in manufacturing industry.
