The Department for Promotion and Prevention Social Services in Järva is in an intensive development phase. We are working to strengthen early intervention and prevention efforts and develop a social service that is easily accessible, knowledge-based, and better equipped to meet future needs. Four operational areas are organized within the department: Leisure, Support and Services, Early Social Support, and Open Care. As Prevention Coordinator, you will be part of a team with strategic, department-wide assignments as an investigator, prevention coordinator, and project manager. The team is led by a unit manager. Your role As Prevention Coordinator, you will have a central role in developing, coordinating, and monitoring prevention and health promotion efforts within Järva District Administration. You will work both strategically and operatively to identify needs, analyze conditions, and translate knowledge into concrete interventions. You will lead development work, coordinate interventions, and facilitate cross-professional collaboration groups in areas such as violence prevention, ANDTS, criminality, and mental health. The role also involves informing, educating, and communicating knowledge to different target groups. Your competence and experience We are looking for someone who has: a degree in social work or other relevant higher education that the employer deems equivalent multiple years of experience in one or more of the social services' operational areas strong ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing It is meritorious if you have: experience with prevention work at different prevention levels experience leading projects, processes, or development work experience in cross-professional collaboration and advancing matters together with various stakeholders knowledge of ANDTS, violence prevention, mental health, criminality, or other areas within social prevention We place particular emphasis on you being self-driven, initiative-taking, and structured, with the ability to drive processes forward, from idea to result. You are relationship-building and have an easy time establishing trust and good collaborations with different professions and collaboration partners. You are creative, curious, and development-oriented and see opportunities to implement new ideas and knowledge in practice. You are also pedagogical and communicative and feel comfortable presenting, educating, and leading discussions with different target groups.
