Are you technically skilled, meticulous, and experienced in working with precision mechanics and electronic components? We are now seeking a senior precision technician in electronics for an extended assignment in Stockholm. This position is suitable for you if you want to work with assembly, testing, and improvement of electronic products in a controlled and quality-driven environment. For this position, you must be a citizen of a NATO country and be able to undergo and be approved for a security clearance. About the Position As a senior precision technician, you are responsible for advanced assembly work, troubleshooting, and optimization of production processes. You perform soldering, component assembly, adjustments, and final testing while documenting your work according to applicable procedures and quality requirements. The role also involves guiding and supporting less experienced colleagues and participating in improvement projects to enhance product quality and efficiency. Perform precision assembly and soldering of small electronic components. Conduct functional tests, measurements, and final inspections according to specifications. Troubleshoot and correct electronic faults and document deviations. Participate in the development and implementation of work instructions and improvement initiatives. Mentoring of technicians and contribute to knowledge transfer within the team. Ensure order, safety, and compliance with 5S and other quality procedures. About You We are looking for a self-driven and organized person with high precision in craftsmanship and a strong focus on quality. You enjoy problem-solving, take responsibility for your work, and communicate clearly with colleagues and other departments. Experience working in a production environment and familiarity with documentation in formal systems are advantageous. Meticulous and quality-conscious Organized and problem-solving oriented Proactive and responsible Good teamwork skills and communicates well in Swedish both verbally and in writing Formal Qualifications Education in electronics, electrical engineering, or equivalent experience. Several years of experience in precision assembly, soldering (including micro-soldering), and troubleshooting of electronic circuits. Experience using measuring instruments such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and frequency counters. Good computer skills and experience documenting in systems (e.g., work orders, quality documents). Fluent English (the working language is English). Swedish is used in communication between colleagues. Merits Experience working with SMD assembly equipment and torque tools. Knowledge of IPC standards or equivalent quality standards. Experience with blueprint reading and measurement methods for mechanical precision.
