Berga Parish in Linköping Cathedral Chapter is a large and growing diverse parish with two churches and approximately 9,000 members of the Church of Sweden. Berga Church is located near Berga Center and is home to many people from other countries, which gives the area a distinctive cultural diversity. The parish's second church is located in Vidingsjö, by an old farmstead in a scenic area with fruit trees and a nearby stream. In both churches we celebrate Mass every Sunday. Berga Parish has a team of 13 people, including 3 priests. Guided by the principles of openness, curiosity, and care, we develop the parish's life together with dedicated volunteers. We are now seeking a priest who wants to contribute to the continued development of the parish. About the Position As a priest with us, you work goal-oriented, independently and in close collaboration with both employees and volunteer staff. Together we take responsibility for Berga Parish's worship life. In Linköping Cathedral Chapter, a joint initiative for confirmation students and youth has been underway for several years. You will be part of a competent confirmation team that views development, change, and new ideas positively. Together with colleagues, you are responsible for the parish's confirmation groups, youth group, and young leaders. In addition to this, the position includes customary priestly duties.
