At Praktiska Gymnasiet, we offer vocational education with the opportunity to achieve higher education eligibility. Right now, approximately 390 students are completing their upper secondary education with us! We offer vocational education in 8 different programs: Construction and Infrastructure, Restaurant and Food (Bakery), Electrical and Energy, Natural Resource Management, Plumbing and Heating, Automotive, Care and Social Services, Industrial, and IM. Our facilities are modern and adapted for quality education! Our education is based on blending theory with practice, and a large part of instruction consists of APL—workplace-based learning. The school has good contacts with local industry and we constantly strive to give our students the best possible future skills and education! Ambition, strength, and passion are important values we aim to achieve. Your Assignment The position is a permanent full-time employment starting August 12, 2026. You will teach and mentor our students, primarily in mathematics. Teaching in other subjects and work-related mathematics may also be relevant. Together with other colleagues, you will be part of a team responsible for the entire student's education with support from the student services team and school management. We see you as an important and driving force for, with students at the center and in collaboration with colleagues, developing the subject. In addition to subject-specific work, you will, like other teachers at the school, have tasks such as serving as a mentor and together with your colleagues you will coach students both socially and academically throughout their three years at Praktiska Gymnasiet. We communicate primarily through Schoolsoft and we work in a Google environment through sharing digital documents, calendars, and planning materials. This applies equally to both students and colleagues. Your Profile First and foremost, we are looking for you as a certified upper secondary mathematics teacher.
