Social Worker - Foster Care and Child Protection Department, Indefinite Term

The worker in this position: As a social worker in the Child Protection Office (OSPOD) in the foster care agenda, you will ensure the protection of rights and interests of children who cannot grow up in their own families and participate in finding suitable substitute family environments. You will assess the situation of the child and their family, collaborate with courts, schools, healthcare facilities, and other institutions; prepare documentation for court decisions regarding child placement in alternative care, foster care, or adoption. You will also support and accompany foster families, monitor the child's development, and ensure their needs and rights are being met. The social worker also maintains records of children and applicants for substitute family care and participates in facilitating foster care and adoption arrangements.
