Information Center Staff Member - Part-Time Position (with prospect for full-time)

Work location: Česká Kamenice We are looking for a person to work in Česká Kamenice in collaboration with colleagues from culture and tourism in the city of Česká Kamenice to: - operate the information center, provide services to tourists and local residents; - come up with ideas on how to continuously improve and develop information center services; - manage social media for the KaCR organizational unit, publish current information on them; - stay informed about what is happening in the city, monitor the events calendar, update promotional materials; - occasionally participate in other activities in the field of tourism and culture (organizing events, etc.); - enjoy working both independently and as part of a team with current colleagues. We would be pleased to work with a colleague who: - has previous experience providing client services, preferably in the tourism field; - speaks German or English at a communicative level; - can handle basic graphic design skills sufficient for creating simple materials for the city's social media; - wants to be part of a young and friendly team and help advance tourism and culture in Česká Kamenice together. Salary and benefits: - salary based on education and experience achieved, bonuses upon meeting set targets, employment contract for an indefinite period; - 5 weeks of vacation + 5 days of sick leave (reduced depending on hours worked - part-time position); - fixed working hours outside the tourist season, possibility of flexible working hours during tourist season (coverage with seasonal employees); - meal vouchers, pension insurance contribution; - discounted mobile tariff for employees and their families. Some general information about us: Česká Kamenice is a town of five thousand inhabitants located at the intersection of three protected landscape areas, in close proximity to the České Švýcarsko National Park. The city center features a preserved heritage zone dominated by the connection between the Gothic Church of St. James the Greater and a Baroque pilgrimage chapel of the Birth of the Virgin Mary. The area around the city contains several viewpoints complemented by numerous sacred monuments.
