St. Anthony's Night Shelter is seeking a social services worker on a part-time basis. We are looking for someone who knows how to interact with respect, can remain calm even in challenging situations, and is able to support people going through a difficult period associated with homelessness.
What awaits you?
- Direct work with homeless men and women based on respect and individual approach.
- Provision of basic social counseling (guidance on social benefits and social services)
- Ensuring the operation of the night shelter (e.g., client intake and accommodation, payment processing, distribution of bedding, supervision of rule compliance, overnight supervision).
- Documentation and administrative tasks.
- Collaboration with institutions and specialists in the interest of clients.

- Part-time 0.3 position in Jindřichův Hradec, working hours 20:00 - 8:00 (12 hours/shift)
- Starting gross salary 8,400 Kč for a 0.3 position with increase after training

Requirements:
- Completed minimum secondary education with a vocational certificate
- Completed accredited course for social services worker is an advantage
- Criminal record clearance and health fitness (including hepatitis B vaccination)
- Personal maturity, communicativeness, reliability and responsibility, ability to handle crisis situations, ability for empathy and assertiveness, ability for independent and team work, willingness to continue learning
- User knowledge of PC work (especially Office 365), knowledge of e-quip system is an advantage
- Professional knowledge in the field of social work, especially with homeless persons
- Identification with Charity values
