We are hiring a full-time social services worker - direct care coordinator to work at a Special Care Home, Koperníkova 870. Expected start date: immediately (or by arrangement) on a fixed-term basis with the possibility of extension. Salary conditions: 8th salary grade (27,050 - 39,110), minimum guaranteed wage for this job category 31,360,-. Placement based on documented experience. Professional Qualifications - Compliance with the qualification requirements of Law No. 108/2006 Coll. on Social Services as amended (if this condition is not met, the organization's director will require its completion within 12 months from the start of employment in the employment contract, and it will be added to job duties that these activities are performed under professional supervision). - Further education for social services workers (§ 116, subsection 9 of Law No. 108/2006 Coll. on Social Services as amended) Required General Knowledge, Abilities and Skills - User-level knowledge of PC work (MS Office, Internet) - Communication and expression skills Required Special Knowledge, Abilities and Skills - Basic orientation in legislation concerning the provision of social services (Social Services Quality Standards) - Completion of an accredited training program in individual service planning with users - Ability to apply methodological and work procedures in practice - Ability to plan, coordinate and organize the implementation and evaluate implemented activities - Ability to work with risk - Ability to motivate and manage workers and monitor their activities - Ability to motivate service users - Ability to resolve conflicts - Ability to negotiate - Knowledge of activation methods and approaches in working with users - Ability to provide support to users while maintaining and developing social contacts and actively using free time - Skill in conducting conversations with users - Skill in planning the course of social service provision with regard to individual user needs and goals - Skill in recording, evaluating and reassessing the course of social service provision to users - Ability to share information with other persons involved in providing social services to users Personal Requirements - Respect for human rights, freedoms and dignity - Empathy - Self-control - Responsibility - Independence - Decisiveness - Thoroughness - Resistance to stress and high workload - Ability to individually support users in meeting their needs - Respect for supervisors - Creativity - Ability for personal and professional development - Perseverance - Flexibility - Ability to work in teams - Loyalty We Require: - Experience in social services (preferred) - Knowledge of social issues (Social Services Quality Standards) - Clean criminal record Job Position Characteristics - Performance of activities in direct work with users of the Special Care Home (provision of basic activities in accordance with Law No. 108/2006 Coll. on Social Services and Regulation No. 505/2006 Coll. as amended, maintenance of assigned documentation related to activities performed in the area of social service provision) Please submit applications marked "Direct Care Coordinator" to the organization's address or to the indicated email address no later than August 3, 2026 in the following format: - Structured CV with overview of education and experience - Copy of education diploma In the first round of the selection process, candidates will be selected based on meeting the basic selection requirements.
