Postdoctoral Researcher in Neurological Research

The position is financed by funds from the Ländell Foundation for Medical Research (91143). The position will be located at an institution within the Faculty of Medicine. Duties Conduct independent research. Qualifications To be eligible for employment as a postdoctoral researcher, you must have completed a doctoral degree or hold a foreign degree assessed as equivalent to a doctoral degree. The degree should have been completed no more than three years before the application deadline. If there are special circumstances, the doctoral degree may have been completed earlier. Special circumstances include parental leave, leave due to illness, positions of trust within trade union organizations, service in total defense, or other similar circumstances, or clinical service or service/assignments relevant to the field. A person employed as a postdoctoral researcher may not have previously been employed as a postdoctoral researcher at Uppsala University in the same or a closely related field for more than one year. Selection Criteria In the selection of eligible applicants, particular weight will be given to research merits in neurological research, primarily regarding Friedreich's ataxia. Personal suitability will be considered. Following a qualitative overall assessment of competence and skill, applicants will be selected based on who is assessed to have the best prerequisites for implementing and developing the relevant tasks and contributing to the development of the operation.
