Postdoctoral Researcher in Medical Research

The position is financed by funds from the Stina and Bertil Engström Foundation for Medical Research (91052) and the Miss Lisa Eriksson Memorial Foundation (Medical Research) (91054). The position will be placed at an institution within the Faculty of Medicine. Duties Conducting independent research. Qualifications To be eligible for appointment as a postdoctoral researcher, you must have completed a doctoral degree or hold a foreign degree deemed equivalent to a doctoral degree. The degree should have been completed no more than three years before the application deadline. If there are special circumstances, the doctoral degree may have been completed earlier. Special circumstances include parental leave, leave due to illness, positions of trust within trade union organizations, service within the total defense, or other similar circumstances, or clinical service or service or assignments relevant to the field. An individual appointed as a postdoctoral researcher may not have previously been employed as a postdoctoral researcher at Uppsala University in the same or related field of study for more than one year. Selection Criteria In the selection among eligible applicants, particular weight will be given to research merits in medical research. Personal suitability will be considered. Following a qualitative overall assessment of competence and skill, applicants will be selected who are deemed to have the best prerequisites to carry out and develop the relevant tasks and contribute to the development of the operations.
