The position is funded by the Astrid Karlsson Scholarship Foundation (91488). The position will be placed at an institution within the Faculty of Medicine. Duties Conduct independent research. Qualifications Eligible for postdoctoral employment is a person who has earned a doctoral degree or holds a foreign degree assessed as equivalent to a doctoral degree. The degree should have been completed no more than three years before the application deadline. If there are special circumstances, the doctoral degree may have been completed earlier. Special circumstances include parental leave, leave due to illness, positions of trust within trade union organizations, service in total defense, or other similar circumstances, or clinical service or service or assignments relevant to the subject area. A person employed as a postdoctoral researcher may not have previously been employed as a postdoctoral researcher at Uppsala University in the same or related subject area for more than one year. Selection Criteria When selecting among eligible applicants, special weight will be given to research merits in clinical research. Personal suitability will be considered significant. Following a qualitative overall assessment of competence and skill, applicants will be selected based on their best qualifications to implement and develop the current work tasks and contribute to developing the operation.
