Job Description
As a service technician with us, you work from home with a service vehicle and visit our customers on-site. You will be an important representative for Pegab Portar and therefore have significant direct customer contact.
After thorough introduction and training, your work tasks will include:
Assembly and installation
Service, troubleshooting, and repair
Maintenance and preventive service
Work with doors, gates, docking systems, shutters, entrance doors, fire-rated shutters, and more
The work is varied and independent, giving you the opportunity to solve different types of technical problems at our customers' locations. The position can periodically be physically demanding and involves travel within our work area.
About You
We are looking for someone who is driven, self-directed, and solution-oriented and who enjoys taking responsibility for your work. You are practically minded, technically interested, and find it easy to meet people in a positive and professional manner.
We believe you:
Live in Gothenburg and surrounding area
Have upper secondary education and several years of work experience
Have experience from a technical profession and/or work within mechanics
Are accustomed to working independently and solving technical problems
Enjoy customer contact and representing the company at customer sites
It is advantageous if you have experience as a service technician within the door industry or from similar professions, such as elevator technician, installation technician, traveling technician, or similar.
It is also advantageous if you have:
Electrical certification
Welding experience
Qualifications
Upper secondary education
Swedish category B driver's license
Fluent Swedish in speech and writing
