The Employment Office of the Czech Republic announces a selection procedure for filling a civil service position in accordance with § 178 subsection 1 of Act No. 234/2014 Coll., on Civil Service, as amended Advisor/Consultant for Non-Insurance Social Benefits ID 11001746 Workplace: Employment Office of the Czech Republic - Regional Branch in České Budějovice Non-Insurance Social Benefits Department, Contact Office Jindřichův Hradec Main job responsibilities: - providing consultation and advisory services to clients in the field of non-insurance social benefits, - comprehensive processing of applications for non-insurance social benefits, particularly applications for material need assistance benefits, including processing obtained data through agenda information systems, evaluation of entitlement to benefits and implementation of benefit payments in material need agenda - conducting local investigations - direct client contact - providing expert advisory services on opportunities to resolve or prevent unfavorable social situations for applicants for material need assistance benefits - cooperation with other administrative bodies Qualification and other requirements: - minimum higher vocational education - excellent user knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel) - work with people, stress resilience, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, independence, reliability, high work commitment, flexibility, professional demeanor - legal capacity, clean criminal record, health fitness - experience in state administration is an advantage - Group B driver's license – active driving experience is an advantage - knowledge of legal regulations (particularly Act 111/2006 Coll., 110/2006 Coll., 500/2004 Coll., in current form) is an advantage Working conditions: - salary placement in pay grade 10 in accordance with applicable legal regulations, possibility of granting personal supplement after probation period - flexible working hours – full-time - expected start date October 1, 2026 - fixed-term employment contract (substitute for sick leave, parental leave, sabbatical, and retirement leave) with a 6-month probation period (determined in accordance with § 178 subsection 3 of the Civil Service Act, in current form) Employee benefits: - 5 weeks of vacation - 5 days of sick leave - 1 day off for personal matters - meal allowance and catering services - contribution to retirement savings products - bonuses for life and work anniversaries - possibility to use the MultiSport program If interested in this position, please send electronically a cover letter stating the position title and workplace, supplemented by a structured CV and a copy of your education credentials, no later than August 28, 2026 to the e-mail address [email protected].
