Discover a versatile assignment. About the job The Swedish Tax Agency's IT department is responsible for the operation, management, and development of the agency's IT systems. The Swedish Tax Agency also provides IT operations to several customers, and we are working to become Sweden's best IT operations provider for government agencies. Together with skilled and innovative colleagues, you contribute to the Swedish Tax Agency's mission to create social value. In the role of Platform Administrator, you are an important part of the platform team that manages, among other things, ServiceNow and observability platforms. We see that you have deep technical knowledge and easily grasp new technologies. You work with network configuration and automation in on-premises environments for ServiceNow and observability platforms. You work to troubleshoot and optimize performance in a complex infrastructure. Additionally, the role includes working with applications, server operations, system operations, and database management with the goal of taking a holistic approach to ServiceNow and observability platforms. Together with your team, you work in close collaboration with other teams to resolve dependencies and ensure that our platforms and IT environment function as they should. Our forward focus is to continue developing and improving internal processes and to drive the implementation of vulnerability scanning platforms and new observability platforms. At the same time, we work to simplify the use of platforms for our customers and users. With us, you have the opportunity for continuous development and learning in your work. We are responsible for the development, operation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure for several government agencies. You should also have: relevant post-secondary education in IT, or alternatively several years of relevant work experience in the IT field several years of current and relevant work experience with monitoring platforms several years of current and relevant work experience with Linux environments using Bash and Python scripting several years of current and relevant work experience with TCP/IP networks, including load balancing and routing several years of current and relevant work experience with automation in a complex environment several years of current and relevant work experience with ServiceNow. It is desirable that you have relevant work experience with Windows and knowledge of PowerShell. It is also desirable that you have experience working in a Zero Trust environment. Good to know The employment is permanent and may begin with a six-month probationary period. Employment with us may involve placement in a security classification. A security vetting with record checking in accordance with the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a decision on employment.
