As a place developer at the business development unit, you work to strengthen Partille's city center, commercial areas, meeting places, and corridors. Together with businesses, property owners, associations, and municipal operations, you drive development initiatives that make our environments more attractive, functional, and sustainable.
You are an important coordinator who brings different stakeholders together around common goals, identifies needs, and transforms ideas into concrete actions. In this role, you get to combine strategic development work with operational implementation. As part of our small, tight-knit team, we work closely together, take shared responsibility, and value straightforward collaboration.
In the role you will, among other things:
Drive and coordinate development initiatives in city center, commercial, and corridor environments
Develop collaboration with entrepreneurs, property owners, associations, and other local stakeholders
Develop and implement action plans, projects, and activities
Capture needs and development opportunities from the business community and local society
Contribute place and business perspectives to the municipality's work
Follow up on initiatives and communicate results and development opportunities.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with relevant university education or other education and experience that the employer considers equivalent. You have experience with place, city center, urban, or business issues, or similar work. You have an understanding of what contributes to vibrant environments and how collaboration between municipality, business, and property owners can create results.
Experience with municipal operations, project management, and collaboration processes is a merit.
As a person, you are driven, organized, and relationship-oriented. You have an aptitude for building trust, bringing stakeholders together, and turning ideas into concrete results. You thrive in a role where you both work strategically and operationally. You have good communication skills in speech and writing and are accustomed to working independently toward set goals.
