We are seeking an experienced and engaged Shop Manager for Werksta's damage repair shop on Gotland.
An important part of this role involves creating conditions for very high customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction, and ensuring that work is planned and optimized at our vehicle damage repair shop. Responsibilities
Would you like to lead and develop the shop's daily operations? In this role, you are responsible for ensuring efficient workflows, high quality in repair work, and a good customer experience. You lead the team, coordinate with insurance companies and external partners, and actively work on continuous improvement and staff development. In other words, you have overall responsibility for the entire facility, including workflow, operational targets, profitability, budget, and personnel.
Lead and coach the shop's employees to ensure high quality, productivity, and a good working environment
Plan and monitor repair workflows, spare parts management, and scheduling to optimize throughput
Ensure that procedures for damage handling, documentation, and digital reporting are followed
Collaborate with customer reception, damage assessment, and paint shop to create a smooth customer journey
Communicate with insurance companies, suppliers, and external partners as needed
Responsible for work environment, safety, and compliance with shop procedures and legal requirements
Drive improvement efforts around processes, tools, and digital systems and monitor key metrics
Handle personnel matters such as recruitment, onboarding, skills development, and follow-up
Qualifications and Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking an experienced, confident, and stable leader who is results-oriented and driven, while also having their heart in the right place. Furthermore, you should be a leader who wants to be "hands on" and present in daily work, with extensive experience in the automotive industry and leadership.
· Experience in leadership within a vehicle damage repair shop or similar operations in the automotive industry
Good understanding of damage processes, workshop workflows, and vehicle repairs
Experience working with digital workshop systems and documentation; Cabas knowledge is a requirement
Strong understanding of figures and economics is required
Ability to lead, motivate, and develop employees and create an inclusive work environment
· Structured, results-oriented, and experienced in prioritizing in a dynamic work environment
· Initiative-driven, creative, and self-directed with the drive to implement improvements and achieve goals
Good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written; English is a merit
B-class driver's license is a merit. This is a full-time position, starting as soon as possible.
