Venue Manager at Multi Challenge

We welcome everything from families with children and groups of friends to schools, associations, and large corporate groups. We are now seeking a Venue Manager who wants to take overall responsibility for the daily operations at Multi Challenge. About the Role As a Venue Manager, you have an important and operational role in the business. You lead the staff, manage bookings, and ensure that our guests receive professional and friendly service. You need to thrive in a day-to-day environment where conditions sometimes change quickly. This might involve staff absences, a technical problem, or a large booking that requires quick rescheduling. You are not expected to solve everything yourself, but you should be the one who takes responsibility for ensuring the situation is handled. Your main duties are to: • Work actively in daily operations, on weekdays, evenings, and weekends. • Lead, support, and follow up with staff in their daily work • Lead, support, and follow up with staff in their daily work • Ensure that the business maintains a high level of service, quality, and safety • Manage bookings, inquiries, and contact with our guests • Plan and adjust staffing based on bookings and operational needs • Respond to staff absences, operational problems, and other situations that need quick solutions • Create clarity, structure, and good routines for staff • Monitor sales, labor costs, and other financial aspects of the operation • Work on improvements that develop both guest experience and profitability Who We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is confident in leading others and enjoys working closely with both staff and guests. You are solution-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize when multiple things happen at once. We believe you'll thrive in this role if you: • Have experience in leadership, supervision, or personnel responsibility • Have good computer skills and can easily learn new booking and operational systems • Are service-oriented and professional in guest interactions • Are flexible and can adapt when the business requires it • Dare to make decisions and take responsibility for getting things done • Have an economic mindset and understand the connection between staffing, sales, and profitability • Are clear, calm, and good at creating engagement within a team Experience from activity facilities, hotels, restaurants, retail, events, or other service businesses is a plus. Working Hours and Flexibility Multi Challenge is open almost every day of the year. The work therefore involves varying hours with days, evenings, and weekends. This is not a purely office-based role. You need to be present in the operation and have the ability to occasionally adjust your schedule when something unexpected occurs. At the same time, we work together and help each other to create a sustainable working environment.
