You don't necessarily need to have worked in concrete or infrastructure specifically—what matters is that you understand how projects are driven in a traditional construction or civil engineering company and are ready to take overall responsibility for multiple projects. The company is a versatile player in concrete and infrastructure construction in northern Sweden and Finland, with over 250 employees. Core expertise includes site-cast concrete structures, construction planning, and infrastructure work for industrial, corporate, and public projects. Operations are particularly focused on industrial construction and energy-related infrastructure. The company is in a growth phase where new projects, methods, and business areas are continuously being developed. The organization is characterized by short decision-making paths, modern leadership, and a working approach that enables flexibility and development in everyday operations. This position is a direct placement, meaning the recruitment process is conducted through Futuria People, but you will be employed directly by the Client. About the Role As an operations manager, you are responsible for 2 to 4 projects in parallel depending on size. You support site managers in their daily work and ensure that projects maintain the correct level in terms of finances, schedule, and quality. You will, among other things: • Lead and support site managers in their projects • Follow up on project finances and forecasts • Ensure schedules are met • Plan resources and staffing • Participate in estimating and follow-up work • Assist in recruitment • Participate in financial meetings • Ensure structure and documentation • Conduct site visits as needed What We Offer Freedom with Responsibility: A culture where employees are given significant responsibility and freedom in their work. About You You are a clear and responsible leader with drive and a strong ability to prioritize correctly in projects. We are looking for someone with several years of experience in a leadership role within construction and/or civil engineering, with a good understanding of production logistics, contract types, and project execution in traditional construction and civil engineering companies. You don't necessarily have to have worked on concrete or infrastructure projects, but have a background that enables you to quickly function in that type of operation. Experience from a leadership role, such as site manager, project manager, operations manager, estimating manager, or equivalent, is a merit. • Have managed projects with responsibility for finances, schedule, and production • Have a good understanding of finances and results • Have good knowledge of contract law and actively use AB 04/ABT 06 as a tool in projects • Are comfortable handling change order questions in dialogue with clients and consultants Other Information Start: By agreement Scope: Full-time Location: Luleå and surrounding area Submit your application as soon as possible as selection and interviews are ongoing.
