We need to strengthen our operations at Civil North in Norrbotten with an experienced project manager with concrete expertise for our ongoing and upcoming projects. As a Project Manager at NCC, you will have an important role in driving our projects forward – from idea to reality, while contributing to creating sustainable solutions for society's future. The role of Project Manager Concrete As a Project Manager at NCC, you have ultimate responsibility for project planning, finances, cost control, resource allocation and project implementation with a focus on quality, time and budget. Working with contract management and forecasting is an important part of the role and critical to project success. You manage both small and large projects and have the support of a competent team of supervisors, construction engineers, surveyors, skilled workers, subcontractors and specialists in areas such as procurement, design, workplace environment and HR. Projects vary within concrete, construction and heavy industry. You are a present leader who enjoys being out in production to support our employees and contribute to good cooperation and a pleasant work environment on site. Learn more about working as a Project Manager at NCC: Project Manager at NCC Your Profile To succeed and thrive in the role of Project Manager, we are looking for someone with experience from a position as Project Manager in projects focusing on concrete. You are a good leader who creates and maintains good relationships with clients, while having the ability to coordinate both your own resources and our subcontractors. You have post-secondary education in the field combined with work experience. We would like you to be confident in a leadership role, able to inspire and be responsive to your employees. You promote a good work environment and have the ability to delegate and set requirements. Furthermore, you have a solution-oriented approach, the ability to see the bigger picture and enjoy applying your knowledge in practice. We would like you to have experience with project sizes from 100 million SEK and upwards, as well as a good understanding of partnership and collaboration projects. You have knowledge of construction law and hold Concrete Class 1 certification. About Civil North Our Civil North division works with land, construction and infrastructure projects. We are approximately 500 committed employees divided into seven production manager groups within our geography spanning Norrbotten, Västerbotten, Västernorrland, Jämtland and Värmland. Additional Information The position is a permanent employment with a six-month probationary period. The role requires regular physical presence at our project sites, so we are looking for someone who lives – or has the opportunity to relocate – within Norrbotten County. Our initial projects are within daily commuting distance from Boden, but weekly commuting to other project locations may occur in the future. Start date by agreement. A Class B driving license is required for the position. This position will be background checked in accordance with NCC's security culture. The division works with security-classified projects.
