Kalaneuvos Oy and the entrepreneur family Hukkanen own Nordic Fish Group and its subsidiary Nordic Trout, which focuses on fish farming with over 40 operating facilities on mainland Finland, Åland, and in Sweden. The fish farming group is specialized in smolt production and rainbow trout cultivation. Our fish farms can deliver fresh rainbow trout to wholesalers and further processors year-round. The group employs approximately 300 people in total, and the combined turnover for 2025 was 135 million euros. The group's total annual volume of processed fish products exceeds 20,000 tons. We are the largest rainbow trout farmer in both Finland and Sweden. Nordic Trout Sweden is seeking Site Manager Do you want to lead an operation with strong future prospects, significant investments, and clear growth ambitions? We are now looking for a Site Manager who wants to take a key role in Nordic Trout's continued expansion. We're looking for you – a confident and clear leader with the ability to create structure, develop people, and drive the operation forward. The group farms and processes rainbow trout in Finland, Åland, and Sweden and operates at a large number of production facilities. Nordic Trout is currently the largest producer of rainbow trout in Finland and Sweden. In Sweden, Björka in Mora municipality is one of the operation's most important facilities. Here, the company is facing a very exciting development journey where production is to be doubled over the coming years through extensive investments, expansions, and new hires. The company is investing approximately 30 million SEK in the Mora area, and the operation is expected to grow significantly through 2028. What we're looking for in you As Site Manager, you have overall responsibility for operations at Björka and Insjön. You currently lead approximately eight employees but will gradually build up the organization as the operation expands. The goal is for the workforce to double within the coming years. The focus of the role is on leadership, planning, monitoring, and development of the operation. At the same time, you are a present leader with a good understanding of day-to-day operations. You enjoy being close to the operation and are prepared to practically support the team in production or at the facilities when needed. Your responsibilities include, among other things: Production, operations, and maintenance Work environment, safety, and quality work Personnel management, competency development, and recruitment Resource and production planning Feed orders and supplier contacts Authority contacts and certification work Administrative processes and reporting Project management related to facility expansion and development Creating structure, routines, and clear leadership in the operation We are primarily looking for a confident, clear, and development-oriented leader. You don't need experience from fish farming, but you likely have experience from industrial, process, or production operations where quality, safety, planning, and structure have been key success factors. Experience from, for example, mining, manufacturing, process industries, or other technically complex operations is a merit. We believe you have experience leading personnel and developing teams, as well as experience running production or process operations. You are comfortable creating structure, working with change and development, and switching seamlessly between strategic and operational matters. You communicate well in both Swedish and English and have good IT skills. The Position The position of Site Manager is permanent, full-time, based in Mora/Insjön.
