Be the proactive leader that unites our Plants, Civil and Digital Engineering team, bridging Electromechanical, Electrical (Station Auxiliary Power), Civil Design (including auxiliary systems), BIM, LCI (Life Cycle Information) and Digital Twin, both internally and toward external stakeholders. This position offers a unique opportunity to work at the center of large-scale energy projects, and you will report to the Line Manager of Plants Project Management. You will work with a tender or project along with an appointed plants team, close to the Plants Lead Engineer and Project Engineering Manager, as well as having interactions with all other relevant internal and external stakeholders. How you will make an impact Be a driven, proactive project manager for your Plants and Civil design team by cultivating camaraderie and promoting transparency. Develop and communicate a robust project execution strategy for Plants and Civil scope aligned with Hitachi Energy values, perform proactive risk and change management (in cooperation with the team) to achieve on-time delivery within defined budget and quality standards. Lead the team with continuous open communication and alignment to ensure internal processes are followed to ultimately achieve the desired quality in short-term and long-term deliverables and milestones. Ensure continuous cross-functional cooperation, collaboration, and coordination for needed input from Plants and Civil departments. Follow up on and report project and/or tender progress to relevant stakeholders within the organization. Interface coordination and performing specific tasks toward our platform builders (in offshore projects) or supporting our civil design team toward civil partners/sub-suppliers. Your background A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline. Several years of experience in project management within industrial, infrastructure, energy, or engineering environments and the ability to balance technical, commercial, and project-related priorities. You are an engaged, ambitious, and driven person who thrives in a constantly changing environment and enjoys collaboration with employees, peers, and beyond. Strong skills in planning and risk management with a good understanding of budgetary constraints, a strong sense of responsibility, strategic thinking, and comfort with making informed decisions for and with your team. Fluent speaking and writing in English is required since you will be part of a global team where you will need to communicate with people from all over the world. As a person, you have a passion for people and technology, are strong in decision-making, and have the right inner drive and self-management skills to take on full responsibility for your scope and deliver on time with quality in a dynamic environment. Experience in power systems, substations, HVDC, industrial plants, or large infrastructure projects is considered an advantage.
