Description The Urban Environment Administration has overall responsibility for the city's public spaces and coordinated mobility. Work Tasks The Role: Strategy Meets Implementation We are now looking for a Planning Manager for the Contracts and Follow-up Unit. Here you work closely with operations and have a central role in driving, developing, and ensuring quality in our procurement, contracting, and follow-up processes. You will participate in and lead procurement projects within areas such as publicly funded travel, traffic technology, and mobility solutions. You will have overall responsibility ranging from early needs analysis and planning, through procurement and contracting, to management, follow-up, and business results. This is not an administrative role. It is a role for someone who wants to take responsibility, make an impact, and get things done. Your Main Responsibilities Lead and coordinate procurement processes according to LOU, from planning to implementation with support from specialists in areas such as procurement, communication, and legal affairs Manage multiple parallel assignments with clear governance, follow-up, and risk management Manage and further develop existing contracts Monitor contracts, suppliers, and deliveries with a focus on quality and target fulfillment Act as an advisory support to commissioners on procurement, contracting, and contractual matters Contribute to the development of working methods, processes, and follow-up models Qualifications University degree in law, economics, logistics, or other education that the employer deems equivalent Several years of experience working with procurement processes, purchasing, or contract management Good knowledge of LOU and experience with public procurement Experience in project management or process leadership with clear deliverables Very good skills in Microsoft Office Very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish It is Important that You Are analytical and structured, and ensure that complex issues result in concrete decisions Are solution-oriented and comfortable in complex environments Take responsibility and drive your assignments forward with a focus on delivery Are communicative and relationship-building, and thrive in a role with many contact points where you build trust over time Are innovative and want to contribute to improving working methods and processes Feel confident making decisions even when all conditions are not fully known Meritorious Experience Experience working in a politically governed organization Experience with supplier monitoring Experience working within the public transport sector, such as public transit Experience with procurement projects within IT or technology areas Terms With us, you'll have a role where you contribute to creating a more accessible and functioning city for everyone.
