About the Position The Identity and Authorization unit is responsible for managing and further developing IT support for identity management, authorization, authentication, and trusted services. We are facing several exciting tasks and projects in the coming years, which gives you the opportunity to work with modern solutions and develop both professionally and personally. Region Stockholm's PKI service has received the Quality Mark for Swedish e-identification at trust level 3 for the mobile phone-based solution RS eID, and the PKI service is a mission-critical function used broadly within the region's IT environment. In your role as PKI Specialist, you and your team have overall responsibility for Region Stockholm's PKI service. You work both strategically and operatively to ensure that the PKI environment is secure, robust, and future-proof. The work includes design, management, and further development of the PKI service, including certificate issuance, key management, revocation services, and trust chains. You are responsible for proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement work, as well as contributing to security-related analyses and incident management. You work closely with other technical teams, information security functions, and the business at large, where you provide expert support on matters relating to certificates and other PKI-related services. Automation, documentation, and regulatory compliance are natural parts of your daily work. As a PKI Specialist at the Service Administration, you help shape and further develop the PKI service for the business. Who Are You? To succeed in this role, we see that you have: • Experience working with PKI solutions and certificate infrastructure • Knowledge of X.509 certificates, certificate chains, and trust models • Experience with the certificate lifecycle (issuance, renewal, revocation, and decommissioning) • Experience with Windows Server and/or Linux in security-critical environments • Understanding of information security and relevant regulations and standards • Experience with operational work in developing, writing, and maintaining documentation, processes, and procedures • Ability to work in a structured and quality-conscious manner in operations and management environments • Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written It is advantageous if you have: • Experience with HSM (Hardware Security Modules) • Knowledge of trust frameworks, such as Swedish e-identification • Experience with automation and scripting (PowerShell, Bash, and/or Python) • Experience with PKI in cloud or hybrid environments • Participated in security audits, reviews, or risk analyses • Relevant certifications in security or identity (e.g., PKI, CISSP, and/or Microsoft) Our Offering We work continuously with improvement initiatives and offer good development opportunities.
