Valmiera preschool educational institution "Sprīdītis" invites you to work as a preschool teacher (1 position or 40 hours per week) starting August 24, 2026, on a permanent basis. Work location: Rūpniecības iela 29, Valmiera, Valmieras novads.
If you have the desire to:
• Plan and deliver high-quality educational processes in the classroom that are suited to children's age and individual abilities;
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to promote each child's development;
• Monitor children's developmental progress;
• Plan your work and prepare necessary documentation;
• Participate appropriately in the institution's development planning and implementation;
and if you have:
• Education and professional development in teaching in accordance with regulatory requirements (Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 569 "Regulations on the Education and Professional Qualifications Required for Pedagogues and the Procedure for Teachers' Professional Development");
• State language proficiency in accordance with State Language Law requirements;
• Ability to work with office equipment and information technology tools;
• Competencies: positive, creative and responsible attitude toward work; psychological resilience and high interpersonal skills; sense of responsibility and high sense of duty; ability to build professional cooperation with educational institution staff, parents, and employees of other institutions;
