Valmiermuižas preschool educational institution "Burtiņš" (hereinafter – the Institution) invites an attractive, creative, and cheerful preschool music teacher (rhythm, dance) to join us starting September 1, 2026. You will foster a positive attitude toward movement and rhythm in each child according to their talents and abilities, inspiring interest in various music genres and the art of improvisation (1 position or 40 hours per week) for an indefinite period. Work address: Ozolu iela 2A, Valmiermuiža, Valmieras pagasts, Valmieras novads.
If you have the desire to:
• plan and organize pedagogical work (children's musical development);
• collaborate with colleagues and parents to promote each child's growth;
• conduct research on children's developmental dynamics;
• plan your activities and prepare necessary documentation, including in digital environments;
• participate in the Institution's development planning and implementation according to your competence;
and if you have:
• experience working with children;
• education and professional teacher competence development in accordance with regulatory requirements (Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 569 "Regulations on the Education and Professional Qualifications Required for Teachers and the Procedure for Enhancing Teachers' Professional Competence");
• compliance with requirements established by the Education Law and the Child Rights Protection Law;
• state language proficiency in accordance with State Language Law requirements;
• competencies: positive, creative, and responsible attitude toward work; psychological resilience and high communication culture;
