Primary Areas of Responsibility Responsibility for budget, business plan, and forecasts · Lead and own the monthly forecast process and ensure accurate and well-anchored financial forecasts. · Support the annual budget and business plan process in line with the facility's strategic objectives. · Coordinate inputs from operations and challenge assumptions to ensure quality and consistency. · Provide clear visibility into risks, opportunities, and variances to support proactive decision-making. Operational Financial Support · Analyze business trends affecting results and identify causes and solutions related to P&L, balance sheet, and operational matters. · Own cost accounting including standard costs, inventory, and fixed assets. · Own financial monitoring of Engineering and identify efficiencies and cost savings. · Ensure optimization of processes, systems, and reporting tools. Business Case and Investment Evaluation · Own new business cases and provide financial recommendations aligned with business strategy. · Lead data collection, validation of assumptions, and financial modeling. · Evaluate make-or-buy decisions, expansions, and other investments. · Communicate commitments, investment needs, returns, risks, and sensitivity analyses. Leadership and Team Support · Provide operations leadership with financial guidance and foster a culture of strong financial awareness. · Build strong collaborations across the organization. · Develop the finance function in line with PHINIA's Business Operating Model and ensure succession planning. We are Looking For Education/Experience · Degree in finance or accounting. · At least eight years of relevant experience with progressively increased responsibility. · Experience in accounting within manufacturing industry is required. · CPA, CMA, or equivalent is a plus. · Experience with Monitor and/or OneStream is a plus. · Knowledge of US GAAP is a plus. Key Competencies · Experienced finance leader from manufacturing industry with strong business acumen. · Documented experience with budgeting, forecasting, and investment evaluations. · Comfortable making decisions in complex cross-functional environments. · Excellent Excel skills. · Excellent communication skills in speaking and writing. · Strong leadership and good organizational skills. · Good understanding of internal controls/ICFR.
