About the Position Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (the Act Concerning Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities). In your role as a personal assistant, you will primarily help the client with everything that arises in daily life and with basic needs. Your work involves safeguarding the client's self-determination and integrity, and contributes to making everyday life run smoothly. Each assistance arrangement is uniquely tailored to the client's life, so work tasks may vary depending on the workplace. Our client is a cheerful 11-year-old boy who enjoys listening to music, painting, and playing ball. Once a week, he plays ball with his assistant, which he greatly enjoys. His individual needs guide the workday, and the work can include, for example, assistance with personal care, training and communication, as well as household chores and activities both inside and outside the home. Who Are You? The role of personal assistant requires strong skills in building good relationships. We are therefore seeking someone who is attentive, committed, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. The client has dual assistance, so it is important that you have good collaboration skills with others and can be flexible. For you to thrive as a personal assistant, there must be good personal chemistry between you and the client. For this position, you must: have previous experience working as a personal assistant or equivalent care work have good knowledge of Swedish have good knowledge of Arabic have good physical fitness and endurance not have any pets at home due to allergies in the client's household be a non-smoker For this position, it is an advantage if you: have a driver's license and access to your own car have experience with epilepsy and managing seizures Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. Work Schedule, Employment Level, and Salary The current employment arrangement is "for as long as the assistance assignment lasts" with an employment level of 100% or 50% respectively. Work shifts will be scheduled on weekdays and every other weekend. Work hours are scheduled variably during day, evening, and night shifts. Both positions will involve night work with both active time and on-call duty, so you should be comfortable working both types of night shifts. Fixed hourly wage by agreement and other compensation according to collective agreement. Start date September 1, 2026, or by agreement.
