We're looking for someone who wants meaningful work and wants to make a difference in a young man's everyday life. Our client is a 26-year-old guy who loves life and is now seeking new positive people for his support team. He is a cheerful, curious person who enjoys staying active and experiencing new things. He can walk short distances but his energy levels vary, so he needs to sit and rest in his wheelchair or be driven in it when you're out on adventures. On weekdays he attends a daily activity program, but in his free time he likes to do fun things. He loves going to concerts, movies, swimming/bathing, and more, but also enjoys taking it easy at home as he is very home-oriented. Because he has significant medical needs and other functional limitations, he needs your help to live his life exactly as he wants to. He can hear everything you say but cannot speak, which means you need to speak very clear Swedish. You will also communicate using sign language and picture support. You are good at reading body language and curious about learning his way of communicating back. We're looking for someone who is respectful, attentive, flexible, and can adapt your work to the client's needs.
