Personal assistants needed for Johan – new home, new team, and a chance to be part of something from the start! Do you want to help build something really great from the beginning? Then this could be the job for you. My name is Johan and I'm about to take a big and exciting step in life. On October 1, 2026, I'm moving from supported living to my own apartment. That's why I'm now looking for personal assistants who want to help me create a safe, fun, and functioning everyday life together. Onboarding will start in August at my current residence, so we have time to get to know each other in a relaxed way before the moving day. In other words: you won't be thrown in the deep end on day one, although humor and stress resilience are definitely welcome. Who am I? I'm a positive and active person who enjoys when things happen, depending on the day. I like joking around, swimming, walking, listening to music and audiobooks, exercising, stretching, and going on little adventures. Sometimes it's full speed, sometimes I need rest and calm. Your task will be to help me find the right balance. I communicate a lot through body language, facial expressions, and mood, so you need to be attentive, present, and curious about really getting to know me. You don't need to understand everything from the start, but you need to want to understand. It's actually more important than coming across as professional in an interview. About the work As my personal assistant, you help me with most things in daily life. This includes personal care, hygiene, meals/tube feeding, medications and other routines, mobility with assistive devices, exercise, stretching, PEP mask, activities, documentation, and creating a safe and meaningful everyday life. The work is active and requires responsibility, attention to detail, and good judgment. At the same time, there's a lot of joy in the job. Here you won't just be "someone working a shift" – you'll be an important part of my new life in my own apartment. We're looking for you if you: are secure, attentive, and responsible have a sense of humor and can be yourself can work calmly even when there's a lot to keep track of enjoy being active but also respect the need for rest are careful with routines, hygiene, and documentation understand the importance of continuity, integrity, and confidentiality want to help build a new assistance team from the ground up Experience with personal assistance, tube feeding, epilepsy, assistive devices, mobility, or working with people with multiple disabilities is a plus, but the right personality and willingness to learn are just as important. You will receive training and guidance. What we offer You'll be part of something completely new from the start, with onboarding in August and an active start when I move to my own apartment on October 1, 2026. This is a unique opportunity to help create good routines, a sense of security, and a work team where we support each other. I need assistants who can be warm, professional, and a bit playful when the situation allows. So you need to be able to take responsibility for important routines one moment and maybe encourage me to exercise or go for a walk the next.
