About the Position Personal assistance is a service under the LSS (Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities). As a personal assistant, you will primarily help the client with everything that arises in daily life and with basic needs. Your work involves respecting the client's self-determination and integrity, and contributes to making everyday life run smoothly. Each assistance assignment is uniquely tailored to the client's life, so work tasks may vary depending on the workplace. Our client is a man in his 70s who lives in Motala. He uses a wheelchair and has MS. As a personal assistant, you are his extended arm and help with most things in daily life, both at home and outside. His major interests are culture and art, and if you share these interests, that is a great plus. Who Are You? The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you as an assistant and the client. We are looking for someone who meets the following: Can speak and understand Swedish fluently Have good physical health and ability to perform transfers Are smoke-free during working hours It is also advantageous if you: Have previous experience working as a personal assistant or in healthcare and care services. Are handy and enjoy cooking. Share the client's interest in culture and art. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. Working Hours, Employment Level, and Salary: We are now seeking two people for the employment form As long as the assistance assignment lasts. Position 1: approximately 80% (32 hours/week) Position 2: approximately 65% (26 hours/week) Working hours are scheduled according to a rolling four-week schedule with shifts from 06:00–14:00, 14:00–20:00, and 23:00–01:00 (or 14:00–01:00). Double assistance occurs during shifts 06:00–20:00 and 23:00–01:00. Salary: Fixed hourly wage by agreement and other compensation in accordance with collective agreement.
