Tungelsta School is located in the southern part of Haninge Municipality. The school's catchment area consists of both urban and rural communities. We have Stockholm city within convenient commuting distance, approximately 30 minutes by car or commuter train. The school is about a 5-minute walk from Tungelsta station. Tungelsta School is organized into work teams based on grade levels. Each work team is led by a development leader. We have approximately 600 students at the school and 60 staff members. The school's vision is Knowledge, Community, and Future Confidence! The school's goals are: See each student's needs, potential, and circumstances - Language development methods - Safety and study environment - Awareness of the equal value of all people. Teachers and other staff plan activities for entire grade levels together to increase equality. We develop cross-subject approaches and use cooperative learning as a method to increase student participation in teaching. We have a clear student focus and we help our students succeed! Everyone on the team is committed to what's best for the students. At Tungelsta School, we are in constant dialogue about school development for improved results and increased equality. We work to develop our learning environments and our collaboration so that leadership and responsibility develop in all staff members. We are now looking for a resource person to support a student. The work involves close communication with the student, guardians, the work team, and school management. Support during lessons. Support with transitions between lessons in the school facilities, during breaks and meals, and in afternoon activities based on the student's needs. You are trained as a recreation center leader/student assistant/resource person and need experience with similar tasks in primary school. You need to be able to teach and lead groups, interpret and reflect on causes and context both individually and in groups. You are a clear and stable leader who knows you thrive in a school environment. The role requires you to be pedagogical and structured and have personal maturity. You need to be comfortable being outdoors daily. We place great emphasis on personal suitability when filling this position.
