Please visit www.assistanskompetens.se to learn more about us or assistanskoll.se We are currently seeking a full-time temporary position until September 2027 for a young man who lives in a villa with his assistants. As a personal assistant, you will provide support in daily life to a person with autism, epilepsy, and intellectual disability. The work often involves helping with activities that are part of everyone's daily life, based on the assistance user's needs and wishes. This can include personal care, household tasks, and activities that the assistance user enjoys. The assistance user should receive support to make decisions about their own life and develop their abilities to live as independently as possible. The work is based on a pedagogical and motivating approach in close collaboration with the assistance user's network and other staff. Work hours 09-16 and 16-09 with sleeping on-call 23-06. For activities outside the home, we have two assistants. Qualifications: Since the workplace is in the assistance user's home, high demands are placed on personal maturity and consideration. You should possess good social skills and be flexible, responsible, and organized. You should also have good collaboration skills, a positive attitude, and be solution-focused. You find it easy to be open to others and are a warm and empathetic person who can work with low emotional engagement, as the man is sensitive to demands. You will be part of a secure team with extensive experience in this work. Previous experience in care work as a personal assistant or nursing assistant is desirable, but personality and personal chemistry between you and the assistance user are the most important factors.
