Personal Assistant for Young Woman in Tygelsjö

On behalf of our client in Tygelsjö (Malmö Municipality), we are now seeking experienced, flexible and attentive personal assistants who want to become an important part of a dedicated team. We are primarily seeking hourly employees with high availability and flexibility, who can work days, evenings, nights and weekends. For the right person, there is an opportunity to transition to a permanent position later on. We would appreciate it if you could start as a temporary hourly assistant right away to get into the work and get to know the client and the team. About the Client The client is a 15-year-old girl who, following a brain tumor and later an accident, has extensive support needs in her daily life. She needs assistance with: Personal hygiene Transfers Training and exercise Medication Tube feeding Respiratory machine at night and as needed during the day Despite her challenges, she is a cheerful, social and spirited girl who laughs a lot and loves being active. She is developing slowly but steadily, and her assistants play an important role in encouraging her to exercise and try new things. She enjoys swimming, as it gives her greater freedom of movement, and she loves music, dance, horse riding and being outdoors. She does best when she receives stimulation and social interaction - otherwise she easily becomes sad and apathetic. Communication occurs primarily through body language, facial expressions and emotions, and she learns more and more each day. It is also important that you speak to the client and include her in her daily decisions and routines. Therefore, as an assistant, you need to be empathetic, patient and confident in interpreting her signals. Who We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who: Has experience in personal assistance or working with children Is a non-smoker Can swim Is not allergic to horses Has energy, keeps a youthful spirit and enjoys finding fun activities Has the ability to take own initiatives and think creatively Is empathetic, respectful and attentive to the client's needs Is responsible, cooperative and confident in making decisions when needed Has a talent for enthusing and enjoys challenges You will become part of a team working together to create a safe, stimulating and developmental everyday life for the client. About the Position Hourly employment with high availability and flexibility Work shifts: day, evenings, weekends and nights Opportunity for permanent position for the right person The client has dual assistance 24/7, and single assistance during school hours when a school assistant is present Training is provided both on-site and through Monument Assistans.
